Dynamic Foil Art

This foil art activity has helped us take our creativity to the next level. By using some simple materials, we brought regular wall art to life. With simple pieces of scrape cardboard, ink pens, hot glue, tin foil, sharpies, and a bit of an imagination, we transformed a single image into so much more. Students brainstormed what story they wanted their foil art to tell. From there, they let their imaginations run wild. These pieces of art turned out so bright and beautiful. We can't wait to make more for a special occasion! 

Hour of Code

We have begun to learn the strategies involved with coding, and may I say, "We're Hooked!" This is such an great way to get started learning the basics of computer programming. We have all found tutorials and lessons that are just right for us. This process really allows students to focus on critical thinking skills and work on problem solving. Each task is different and exciting. Hour of Code has made us think outside of the box and we love it!!
